He’s Not Just An Idea

I just cant grasp how people can live life thinking there is no God!
Everything around us is complete proof that he is there.
The trees,the birds the rocks praise Him.The trees wave their branches,
the birds sing to Him,if he provides for the things of the earth how much
more will he provide for us!yet we have a hard time following Him.
Some people say well if God is real why all this destruction,violence,death, so on!
God doesnt do that to us we do it to ourselves,a people living without God will lead to
total destruction because there is no morality God isnt going to
make us follow Him.People cant totally reject Him and expect Him to
make everything perfect and never let them face any hard times i mean the Christians
even  have hard times so why wouldnt they?They have to actually follow God
and know Him he doesnt promise to take all the struggles and hard times away
but He promises to give us the strength and the wisdom to endure
each and every challenge that comes our way!God is not just an idea or a force,
evolution is so much harder tobelieve than creation.There are signs and proof everwhere around us
that God is so real!Me myself,the universes,the earth,animals,anything didnt just pop out of nowhere
or crawl out of the ocean.Where did the ocean come from???I dont know about you
but i didnt come form any monkey i came from the God who loves us so much that he
gave His one and ONLY Son so that we could live!How amazing is that
there is no love like when a man lays down his life for the ones
he lves!Yet we still reject Him and act like its no big deal…makes me so mad!
Ive heard people say how could such a loving
and caring God send people to hell…God doesnt send anyone to hell,
again we do that to ourselves..God gives us so many chances and opportunities
to follow Him and live for Him but we refuse to and choose to follow
the world which is our choice to spend eternity in hell.Wouldnt you rather believe in God
and die to find out there isnt one than to not believe and die to find out there is one and be
be stuck burning in hell for eternity with our flesh burning
constantly wishin for but a drip of water but gettin nothing but complete
pain and darkness knowing that if only you had followed God in life
you would be in your mansion with streets of gold,gates of pearl,crowns,praising God for eternity
I cant even fathom how amazing  it will be,no more crying,no more sickness,no more sorrow or anything
but pure happiness and joy and life!Oh what a glorious and amazing day that will be
when my Jesus i shall see!

Challenge

Why do we sit back and just live our lives however we want to while people are dying and going to hell everyday!People get made fun of,left all alone,ignored,etc…when all they want is someone to listen to them and be their friend.The healthy arent the ones who need a doctor its the sick,and we were put here on this earth to minister to the broken,the lost,the confused…not to stay with just our little Christian group only they already know Christ.You could be the only person someone would ever hear the Gospel from and could make an impact on their life and not even know it.If we could just get bold and live out loud we could start a revolution of change!Invite our lost friends to church not the ones that already go somewhere else.You might see a situation and feel like you should say something or help but you think well someone else will come along and help,God put you in that place at that time for a reason the next person to come by could lead them horribly wrong take these chances we get to minister and quit being afraid to do what we were created to do!

Win The Lost At Any Cost!!!

How come during a fast we say were gonna take it serious but then when the temptation gets too tough we just give in and think of it lightly.I see it as a promise to God to give up that thing for however long and showing how truly desperate you are for your prayers to be answered and for a change.When we truly show God how serious and desperate we are,he starts moving in miraculous ways!Our lost loved ones and the lost and dying people in this world should be as Christians our top priority during our time in this earth.We were put here as disciples of Christ If we keep to ourselves or are too afraid what the people will think or are too worried about them getting mad no one will ever find Christ.They may be mad at you for the moment but they will be rejoicing in Heaven one day because of you helping them make the best decision of their life instead of burning for eternity in hell wondering why no one ever told them about that horrible place and that the way they were living would get them there unless they turned their lives over to Christ.Lets go out and win the lost no matter what the cost no matter what the outcome no matter how hard it is,Our God is stronger than anything that can come your way on this earth he will take care of His children.Everyone hasnt had the opportunity and blessing of being brought up in a strict Christian family their whole life as most of us have.How are they going to learn that there is a better way of life if they are never around Christian people and if we never speak up and tell them.We go through certain trials and tribulations so that we can help other people make it through theirs through being strong in Christ and not letting it get the best of us.Yes it still hurts and it will be tough but through God and His Spirit there is strength and we will stand in the end we just have to make that choice that no matter what we will take hold and never let go or be decieved!

New Beginning!

Wow,my God never ceases to amaze me!He is so beautiful and holy!I Have a strong vision that in 2010 God is gonna turn things around he is ready to pour out His Spirit on this generation and rock our worlds!Oh that we would seek His face!!!The day is coming soon that we wont have the freedom that we have daily to read about our God,talk about our God,Worship our God…without being chained up and locked in prison or even put to death!Can we not take the overwhelming freedom He has given us and not take it for granted.One day when we cant have our Bibles anymore were gonna wish that we had read it over and over again and studied it to the best of our ability cause the enemy is gonna throw every attack our way and we wont know how to stand.If we truly get serious and get uncontent with where we are with God and our lives and start reading and communicating with our wonderful,merciful,mighty Savior and we will be ready for any attack of the enemy!He has got this HUGE bucket of blessings sitting right at our fingertips ready to pour out on us if we would just reach out and recieve Him!

New Year!!!!!

With the new year everyone thinks of things they could have done differently in the past and the things they want to accomplish during this new year.Working out…on everyones lists but usually never happens consistently like you plan to.Well instead of making our own resolutions that we most likely will never keep lets let God take the wheel and set goals for us in life that he wants us to accomplish.Yes,he wants us to excel and try our hardest but the main reason no one can ever keep their goals is because they try to do it alone and in their own way.Breaking addictions,starting good habits,being a better leader,speaker,whatever you want to do,you can NOT do it on your own.God freely gives us His Holy Spirit daily, sitting out there waiting on us to recieve it and we sit content with what we have trying to handle things ourselves.The Holy Spirit is what breaks you from the bondage of sin,gives you the power to stand firm against the enemy,and to give you strength to get through anything that you need to conquer.This is why we fail at these resolutions year after year after year…We have gotten so content with the sin in this world and forgot how to ask for Gods help through it.

A Chosen Generation

We are a CHOSEN GENERATION!I know God wants to pour out His Amazing LOVE,POWER,His SPIRIT…on all of us but we have to be willing to take that first step out and take what he is giving us!We have to become broken before God and become desperate for a change and it will happen.This generation will see so many things we could never imagine i feel it!Persistant prayer has worked all throughout the Bible and still works just the same today!We just have to back it with faith!!!!We can make the difference let us stand together,put aside all differences,and bridge the gap and rock this world for our Lord Savior Jesus Christ who dies so that we may live for Him so lets take advantage of this LIFE we have been given and give it back to HIm!

Gods Mercy and Forgiveness

God is just SO wonderful!My youth Pastor did the forgiveness sessionon LH-GH tonight and it was just amazing!God is doin so much at Locust Street Church of God lately its blowing my mind!We have recently started a youth prayer meeting!Ive made each teenager and some youth workers do a short devotion of whats on there heart and we all go to our spots and pray and seek God then we sing worship and have recently started a prayer walk throughout the church!It was just onmy heart for long time to start this to make our own youth group stronger and to bring all the youth groups around here together towork together to change our community in the long run!I have been so amazed at how well our group has handled this.They have all gotten up and spoken with no questions asked and have done a great job and each and everyone of them have been truly praying and seeking God for  change!God said where two or three are gathered in my name there will i be also!Pray works guys!When we work-we work .when we pray-God works!I have seen such a difference in all of our services youth and in the sanctuary since we have started this and its truly starting to ake a difference!But back to forgiveness….God has shown us so much mercy for the sin we have commited we dont deserve forgiveness for any of it but he wipes it clean under the blood with no questions asked!Its so amazing!If he can forgive us from such great unpayable sin then we have no right to turn around and not be able to forgive our friends,enenmies or what not over petty problems here on earth.If we cant forgive how will he forgive us.He sent His one and only Son for the payment of our sins and we take that for granted each and every day we live.I try to remind myself every morning before I do anything…One day I will give an account to what I do with this day! we dont have any time to waste lets stop harboring unforgiveness and bitterness towards one another and go out into the word showinfg people Gods amazing LOVE and FORGIVENESS!

Don’t Worry

Why do we worry so much about how we are going to make it threw something?Just like the disciples they saw all these great miracles and the loaves and fish turned into thousands and still worried what they were going to have to eat…why do we keep wasting our time with this lack of faith!God said he will always be there for us and to stay strong til the end and not to worry about tommorrow because tommorrow has enough worries of its own.We need to start gettin more and more rooted in the word of God and our faith bacause the end is closer than we know it.There will be a time when readin the Bible or preaching the gospel will be illegal and we will have to make a decision to either bail out on God or stand firm to the end.There is no way we can stand without having that close inimate relationship with God and were going to wish we didnt take for granted the freedom and opportunities we had and wont have any idea what to do or how to stand against the enemy.Revelation9:6-During those days men will seek death,but will not find it,they will long to die,but death will elude them.

Mark13:9,11,13,37-You must be on your guard.You will be handed over to the local councils and flogged in the synagogues.On account of me you will stand before governors and kings as witnesses to them.(11)Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial,do not worry beforehand what to say.Just say whatever is given you at the time,for it is not you speaking,but the Holy Spirit.(13)All men will hate you because of me,but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.(37)What I say to you,I say to everyone:”Watch!”

We have to be ready to stand firm no matter what comes our way.We have to be able to handle rejection,torment,death,prison,whatever may come but it will all be worth it when we are with our heavenly Father in Paradise and will never hurt again!Thats just so amazing!

The Bible says And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,and with all thysoul,and with all thy mind,and with all thy strength:this is the first commandment. -Mark12:30-31.    No where in there does it say love they Lord thy God with half thy heart.He wants all of us or none of us.We have to lose this halfheartedness and live it full out!

Ephesians5:16-18-(16)At my first defense,no one came to my support,but everyone deserted me.May it not be held against them.(17)But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength,so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might here ir.And I was delivered from the lion’s mouth.(18)The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom.To him be the glory for ever and ever.Amen.

If paul could say these things after all the persecutions he endures no where near anything we have ever went threw I know without a doubt my God is gonna be there for me!

He will NOT let anything come our way he doesnt think we can handle.He gives us the strenght to endure it.

1 Corinthians10:13-No temptation has seized youexcept what is common to man.And God is faithful;he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.But when you are tempted,he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

 

Becoming Desperate

God is so Amazing!My prayer for this generation is that we would become absolutely desperate for God and his Spirit.We will never see a change unless we become the change we want to see ourselves.We have to stop waiting on someone else to do it for us cause it will never get done.Its time to step up and rock this world for God!He loves us so much and his own son died for us even though we never deserved any of it,and we can barely live for Him…How ridiculous is that?!?We have to start standing up for what we believe and treating each indiviaual as a beautiful creation from God like they really are.making fun of people and little things we say and do make a huge impact on that persons life more than you know.it could be a matter of life and death if it gets taken to far.We never know what someone is already going threw even something little added to all that could just set hem off and tear them down.When we go to church,youth group,FCA,prayer meetings,or anything  we need to start really listening to whats being said not just going to say you went and just hearing what you wanna hear and messing with phones,talking,distracting….if we actually get serious about it it will make a difference in our own lives and others what is the point of going if you wont let it change you there isnt one.So lets stand up and show the world that were not hypocrites and we can make the difference.
